Heaters -
Customers regularly ask if a Heater is really necessary
for a whirlpool tub. To clarify this issue, we had
our lab engineers test to see what happens to the
temperature of water in a whirlpool with and without
a heater.
As
soon as your pump is switched on, you are pulling
70° air through 101° water, which immediately
begins reducing water temperature. Test results substantiated
that a whirlpool bath equipped with an electric 110
volt heater will actually increase water temperature
during use 2° in the first hour of operation.
Watertech
offers a 1.5 kw electric heater. (110 volt GFCI dedicated
circuit is required. Refer to local codes. Have all
work performed by a licensed electrician.) |

What
to look for when purchasing a bath with a heater - There are two types of whirlpool bath
heaters on the market. The older more troublesome heater
with a manual reset and Watertech's trouble free automatically
resetting heater.
Should you be in a whirlpool bath wiht a manual reset
heater and for some reason the heater trips to the
off position, you must get out of the tub, dry yourself,
and remove your tub's access panel. Then you must reach
under your tub to locate and press the reset button to
restart your heater before returning to your bath.
With Watertech's whirlpool bath heater with automatic
reset you would not have to do anything but enjoy your
bath. The heater will reset itself to proper operation
after a brief time and you will not have to interrupt
your bath to take care of an annoying and unnecessary
task. Tub shoppers should ask about this exclusive
feature before purchasing their new tub. |

Electronic Pump Flow Control -
Electronic system allows bather to select jet pressure and flow from gentle to vigorous by simply holding button flow until desired pressure and flow is reached. Additionally, system provides a pulsating jet action. System control is backlit and also includes a 20 min. timer. |

Pump Locations - Customers needing to change
a standard pump location to meet their particular
building project need only to call Watertech so we
can place the pump where you want it. This is a service
offered ONLY by Watertech Whirlpool Baths! All building
codes require access to the pump for electrical hook

Jets or Custom Jet Locations - While all Watertech
tubs are computer engineered to provide maximum hydrotherapy,
we realize certain individuals may want or need special
jet locations to provide them with hydrotherapy to
particular body areas such as knees, feet, back,
etc. Watertech is the ONLY tub manufacturer that
will customize any of its whirlpools to meet your
individual needs. Our engineering department
will review all requests to meet your specifications
and to ensure proper design. |

| Trim
Packages - For those wanting jet finishes in chrome,
nickel, polished brass or oil-rubbed bronze. Trim kits give your tub
jets a more distinct look. Trim kits should be ordered
at the same time as the tub. |
| Low
Water Sensor - Great
for those families with young ones running around!
The low water sensor is a factory installed device
that will not let the tub operate unless the water
level is at the appropriate level. This is a nice
safety precaution to keep young children from turning
on the tub while it is empty. |
2 Speed Switch -
Allows bather to switch all the jets from high to low pressure simultaneously
instead of individually adjusting each jet pressure. |
Standard
Mood Light - Comes with interchangeable blue,
red and clear lenses.
LED
Underwater Mood Light - Allows for precise
color display enabling the bather to pause on any
of the 8 main colors, any transitional color or
continuously scroll through colors every 10 seconds. |

Flange - An aluminum extrusion that is installed
on the job. Used when tub is also to serve as a
shower, can't be used on oval or irregular shaped
tubs.
Drains
(waste/overflow) - A 1 1/2" PVC drain
that fits all tubs. Available in chrome, nickel
and polished brass finishes. |

Oak
or Acrylic Skirt (with a removable front access panel) - Oak skirts are slightly oversized so you can easily
trim them to fit your job requirements. Trimming
an oak skirt is easily done by any do-it-yourselfer.
Acrylic skirts available in 5' & 6' lengths. White, Bone, Designer Marble & Granite Colors available.
